What are RSS or XML feeds?
RSS makes it possible to subscribe to a web site instead of visiting it. It is an increasingly popular way to access weblog, podcast and news content, especially among geeks, bloggers, and news junkies. If you have a web-based or software feed reader such as Netvibes, My Yahoo, or Google's personal page, you probably already know how to grab this RSS feed.
Here is a small list of software RSS readers.
- Abilon
- FireAnt
- Pluck RSS Reader
- RSS Bandit
- RSSOwl *recommended
- RssReader
- RSS Xpress
- SharpReader
Our radio program also has a podcast tags inside of it, which means it can be subscribed through iTunes (feature coming soon) and automatically downloaded to your ipod.
